Responsibilities :

  • Ownglobalaccounting,revenuerecognition,financialreporting,accountspayable,payroll,tax,andstockadministrationforthecompany

  • Setupandbuildoutthenecessarysystems,accountingpolicies,internalcontrols,andprocessestosupportthebusinessasitcontinuestorapidlyscale

  • Buildandmanagerelationshipswithexternalaccountantsandauditors

  • Build,manageandgrowaninternalteamasthebusinessscales

  • GuidetheCEOandManagementTeamthroughfinancialcomplexities

  • EstablishUSGAAPcompliantrevenuerecognitionandautomatetheprocessworkingwiththeproduct/developmentteam

  • Establishandautomatereporting/monitoringrequiredforwarehouselinesandcreditorrelationships

  • Establishconsolidationandroll-upoffivesubsidiariesworkingwithlocalaccountingfirms

  • Prepareamonthlyandquarterlyfinancialpackageforreviewbytheboardofdirectors

  • Updatethecompany'sExcel-basedfinancialmodelmonthlytoincludeactualsplusupdatedcostandrevenueforecastnumbers

  • Developayearlyoperatingbudgetwithdepartmentheadsandprovidemonthlyvarianceversusbudgetreports

  • EnsurepayrollisprocessedefficientlyintheUSandhandlepayrollinotherregionsworkingwithlocalaccountingfirms

  • HandlethepaymentofallaccountspayableintheUSandsuperviseaccountspayablepaymentinotherjurisdictions

Requirements :

  • Bachelor'sdegreeinAccounting;CPAishighlypreferred

  • Relevantexperienceinaccounting,controlling,and/orauditexperience

  • Experienceworkingforanaccountingfirmandafast-growingtechnologycompany

  • GlobalcontrollerexperiencewithafocusonUS,LATAM,andAPACwithmulti-currencyandmulti-entityconsolidations

  • StrongknowledgeofsystemsincludingexpensemanagementtoolsandAPautomation

  • ExpertatExcelwithextensiveexperiencebuildingfinancialandbudgetingmodels

  • FluentinEnglish;abilitytospeakChineseand/orPortugueseisaplus
