The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

The Senior Product Manager serves as a critical and strategic role, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, to drive key performance indicators, inclusive of compelling product line strategy, growth above market rates, margin expansion, vitality index for new product development, pricing effectiveness, and data quality to support marketing and sales initiatives. Reporting to this position will be the Associate Product Manager.

In this role, you will report directly to the VP/GM, Chemical Safety, setting the stage for your career to soar This role is your gateway to opportunities for advancement, with the potential to grow within the organization in 3-5 years as you make meaningful contributions to our organizational goals.

What You'll Do at Justrite:

  • Develop Product Line Strategy to drive profitable growth
    • Identify and support execution of opportunities to drive profitable growth through increased penetration at existing customers/distributors and at new customers, distributors, markets, and applications.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain the product line roadmap aligned with company goals and market needs.
  • Develop and Support Execution for New Product Development and Product Lifecycle Management
    • Identify opportunities and build/maintain new product development pipeline.
    • Conduct VOC and build business case to support new product development pipeline.
    • Manage the product development process from concept through to launch.
    • Support successful commercialization of new products in collaboration with Marketing and sales teams.
  • Drive Margin Expansion Management Actions
    • Create pricing strategies and updates based on value, economy, penetration, and competition.
    • Maintain MAP and distributor/customer pricing to meet profitability and growth goals.
    • Own product line profitability/margin expansion by managing pricing strategies and championing cost savings through value analysis and value engineering.
    • Identify and support execution of product enhancements, support quality improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Define Product Value Proposition
    • Monitor and analyze product performance, conduct usability testing, and gather feedback to drive improvements.
    • Conduct VOC and market research to define product requirements and specifications to meet customer needs and business objectives.
    • Develop and document compelling value proposition based on customer needs and competitors.
    • Champion the voice of the customer and ensure their needs are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Sales Support and Product Data Management
    • Support Sales and participate in key large industry events and customer meetings to promote the products, services, and overall brand.
    • Ensure product data management is current and provides support to marketing, sales, and E-commerce teams.
  • Team Development and Leadership
    • Lead cross-functional teams through influence and collaboration to execute product initiatives.
    • Mentor and coach junior product managers and other team members.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and teamwork within the product management organization.
    • Communicate product plans and progress to stakeholders across the organization.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree and Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years direct experience in Product Management, product support or related functions within a manufacturing or tangible goods business.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering products from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to conduct research and analyze data to glean valuable insights and identify opportunities to grow sales.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 30% of the time.

  • Organized, focus on managing and meeting deadlines, ability to multi-task, strong business acumen and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including speaking in leadership meetings.
  • A passion for innovation.
  • Business Intelligence data review a plus.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $150,000. Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience, and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
