Overview:
This role will be the primary provider for Mercy's smoking cessation program. The tobacco cessation counseling may be carried via in person individual meetings, telephonic counseling, and or group classes. Assists and treats patients recovering from a cardiac event or managing their cardiovascular or pulmonary disease . Outpatient cardiopulmonary rehab (Phase 2) operates M-F with a combination of exercise sessions and orienting new patients to the program. This role is expected to perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Two years' experience required in patient care.
- Preferred Experience: Cardiac/Pulmonary Experience preferred
- License/ Education: Must have a current RRT license in the State of Missouri. ACLS certification required within 1 year of employment
