Job Description

Mechanical Inspector

Location: San Jose, CA 95131 United States

Pay: $20/hr on W2

Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
  2. 2 - 3 years of mechanical (machined parts) & visual inspection experience
  3. A minimum of 6 months working in an ISO regulated manufacturing environment
  4. Experience as a Machinist
  5. Experience in the use of & programming Zeiss CMM
  6. Previous experience working in a medical device environment
  7. Ability to read and interpret complex Engineering drawings
  8. Effective writing and communication skills
  9. Knowledge of Excel, Word, Access Database, etc.
  10. Good computer skills
  11. Effective interpersonal skills
  12. Good organizational and prioritization skills
  13. Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures
  14. Good administrative skills and knowledge of established rules of metrology including basic working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing – ASME Y 14.5 -1994 preferred
  15. Knowledge of BD products is highly desirable
  16. Ability to handle multiple assignments
  17. Does not require close supervision – resourceful, punctual, dependable, etc.
