Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinates and manages inspection, maintenance and repair of vehicles, tools & equipment, in compliance with company procedures and policies; supervises the preventive maintenance program for standard care of vehicles and equipment.
  2. Manages fleet, tools & equipment replacements; reviews status of vehicles, tools & equipment; recommends replacement and major repair options; prioritizes purchases and evaluates quotes.
  3. Evaluates vehicle damages and accident trends.
  4. Anticipates problems, and reports on performance of the fleet, tools & equipment.
  5. Plans, schedules, & prioritizes fleet maintenance activities.
  6. Communicates effectively and establishes positive and productive relationships with co-workers, managers, customers, contractors & suppliers.
  7. Performs computer data entry and software operations and works effectively with multiple software applications such as: fleet maintenance systems, GPS tracking systems, email, word processing and spreadsheets in a multi-task environment with frequent interruptions.
  8. Maintains consistent and punctual attendance.
  9. Employment contingent on background check.

Experience:

  1. Experience with Fleet Maintenance Management.
  2. Strong knowledge of vehicles and equipment.
  3. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
