Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Position Overview:

As a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) at Grace Village, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. You will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities. Your dedication and attention to detail will contribute to the overall health and happiness of our residents.

Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Responsibilities:

Administer medications according to physician orders
Monitor residents health status and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Maintain accurate records of medication administration
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Qualifications:

Valid QMA certification in the state of Indiana
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Physical Demands:

Communicating Communication with physicians offices, Constant

giving staff report and care directions to

staff. Communication with residents and

their families

Hearing Necessary for communication, emergency Constant

alarms, receiving report from staff,

listening to report, receiving telephone

orders

Sight Necessary for reading pertinent info on Constant

Residents clinical records, visual assess-

ments of physical conditions and prevention

of falls, injuries, or emergency situations

Use of hands/fingers Necessary for monitoring of pulses, Constant

assessments of body parts,

using typewriter or computer keyboard

Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Benefits:

Base pay from $19-$25 per hour.
Pay based on experience at an additional $0.25/hour per year up to a maximum of $5.00/hour.
Shift Diff of $1.50/hour and Weekend Diff of $1.00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Refer a friend and receive a bonus up to $300 when they stay 90 days, conditions apply. Refer a nurse and receive a bonus up to $600 when they stay 90 days, conditions apply.
