Job Responsibilities:
- Providing analytical support in a Global Markets Operations function for one or more operations product areas.
- Analyzing and resolving highly complex operations problems and initiatives.
- Managing projects and the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products, services, and processes.
- Coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and products.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Confirms loan documentation for accurate trade settlements.
- Partners with Sales Associates, Traders, Research Analysts, trading counterparties, internal and external attorneys, administrative agent banks, and various other internal operations groups.
- Manages post-trade management and logistics, settlement pricing, and closing coordination.
- Analyzes and resolves highly complex operational problems.
- Supports ad-hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives.
- Processes loans end-to-end with accurate data input into various credit and operating systems.
- Functions include oversight of breaks and reporting.
- Management of escalations, timely responses to senior management, support partners, and desk regarding escalations.
- Involvement in system testing, enhancements, and reporting routines to management for updates.
- Participation in audit reviews, coordination with the team for audit documentation and adherence to expected timelines.
- Reporting, collection, and production of team monthly metrics.
- Communication and escalation of Production systems issues and reporting into EPIC.
- Interpret legal documentation and other materials related to complex loan booking and structuring.
- Assist the team with performing due diligence required for loan closing and originations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 2-3 years lending or loan experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills: Excel (vlookup, Pivot Tables, etc.), Word & PowerPoint.
- Presentable, confident, and client-focused. Client-facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with Clients in a confident manner.
- Risk-minded - able to identify issues and escalate to management.
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment during critical funding periods.
- Works well in a team environment and maintains focus to achieve the goals of the business.
