Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with over 10 years of experience in Java development, particularly within the financial services or banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API development and be proficient with tools such as GitHub, IntelliJ, Jenkins, and test automation frameworks like Newman. This role involves providing technical expertise and consultation on complex projects, formulating systems scope and objectives, and contributing to the design, testing, deployment, and management of client-specific solutions.


Responsibilities:

• Collaborate individually or as part of a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements.

• Participate in team planning and contribute to the achievement of Client Support goals.

• Act as a subject matter expert in product testing and validation as needed.

• Serve as a liaison between end-users and the IT organization during technology consulting projects.

• Research and document client needs, technology, or regulations related to system design and enhancement.

• Define product scope, objectives, and requirements, and create detailed specifications for product development and testing.

• Devise and modify processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and solve complex business process problems.

• Demonstrate functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.

• Develop knowledge, technical skills, and core consulting behaviors required for success in Application Services.

• Learn and apply appropriate methodologies and acquire knowledge of business domains and Package Based Solutions.

• Demonstrate flexibility and versatility in meeting objectives, managing workload, and updating management on task progress.

• Build solutions and optimize and improve client applications and systems.


Skills:

• 10+ years of Java Development experience

• Expertise in API Development

• Experience in Financial Services / Banking

• Proficiency with GitHub, IntelliJ, Jenkins

• Experience with Test Automation (Newman)


Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Experience working with large complex systems

• Recent experience in the banking sector


Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.


W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
