Our highly accredited acute care hospital located 45 minutes North of Birmingham Alabama is looking for an Clinical Pharmacy Director to play a critical role in overseeing the hospital’s mission of providing exceptional patient care. 

As the Inpatient Pharmacy Director, you will be an integral component of this 150+ bed acute care facility that takes great pride in providing the highest standard of patient care for the surrounding community. This hospital’s dedication to providing state of the art and innovative patient care has won itself multiple prestigious awards and distinctions. 

The Director Clinical Pharmacy will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the pharmacy team, which entails but is not limited to the management of the clinical inpatient pharmacy services, updating the staff on proper policies and procedures, overseeing staffing and scheduling, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

 The Clinical Pharmacy Director will be fully supported by a team of experienced Clinical Pharmacy Managers and Staff Pharmacists, and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer to collaborate with them on unit goals and initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical inpatient pharmacy background. Individuals who come with prior acute care pharmacy director experience will earn quick interviews.
