2.) Has experience driving project financials. Must have experience presenting and creating buy-in (JIRA & AGILE).

3.) Has experience working in Jira, Confluence and Smartsheet.

Description:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

Use project management tools like Microsoft Project or Jira to track progress and adjust schedules as needed

Team Coordination:

Lead daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress, address roadblocks, and ensure team alignment.

Assign tasks to team members and monitor their completion

Stakeholder Communication:

Regularly update stakeholders on project status, including progress reports and any issues that arise.

Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks to the project and develop mitigation strategies.

Conduct regular risk assessments and adjust plans accordingly

Budget Management:

Monitor project budgets to ensure spending stays within approved limits.

Prepare financial reports and forecasts

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.

Coordinate with QA teams to conduct testing and resolve any issues

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.

Use tools like Confluence or SharePoint for document management

Technical Oversight:

Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring that technical solutions align with project goals.

Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices relevant to the project2.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Strong project management background (project planning, budget management, direction setting & leadership)

- Understands the software development life cycle and up to speed on the latest flavors of agile methodologies

- Understand the product-centric delivery approach

- Familiar operating within a Tech & Digital organization, working on technology initiatives

- Solid communicator; ability to be detailed or concise based on audience or desirable outcome

- Exhibits adaptable / flexible styles of leadership

- A self-starter / go-getter, able to anticipate the needs of their project / leader(s)

- Able to find comfort with ambiguous objectives, where the end-state may not always be apparent

- Ability to partner with external leadership to understand their project needs, establishing a solid working relationship

Setting Project Goals

Maintaining Project Timeframes and Budgets: Keeping track of project schedules, budgeting estimates, and status reports

Managing Resources: Overseeing the allocation of resources, including computer equipment and team members

Project Management Software: Proficiency in tools like JIRA,

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and network management

Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
