Apex has boarded specialists in Surgery, Neurology, Anesthesiology, and Critical Care, along with our Emergency department. We have the space for expansion into Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and Radiology. We would love to find an Emergency Doctor who works well with others, thrives in a team atmosphere, and wants the opportunity to grow a hospital with a great group of people.



About the Role - Some highlights: Flexible scheduling and an emphasis on work-life integration. No non-competes. Competitive compensation with profit-sharing (when Apex does well, you benefit). 25% production bonus with $180k guaranteed base salary. A hospital designed with all staff in mind: Employee gym with Peloton. Quiet room for relaxation, meditation, nursing mothers. Great location with plenty of parking and access to a Metro station.



Responsibilities - Responsibilities include Emergency medicine: 2 years (Preferred). Veterinary experience: 2 years (Preferred).



Qualifications - Must demonstrate desire to continue learning in veterinary care and participate in leading staff training when-needed. Knowledge of medical equipment (e.g. X-ray machines) and anesthesia procedures. Problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language. Availability to take evening, overnight or weekend shifts in cases of emergency. Patience, a sense of humor, and a love for animals. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree.



Required Skills - Shift availability: Day Shift, Night Shift, Overnight Shift. Ability to Relocate: Silver Spring, MD: Relocate before starting work (Required).



Preferred Skills - Experience in Emergency medicine and Veterinary care.
