Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for an Enterprise Architect with an active Secret clearance to design and develop network and system architectures. This position will be located in Sterling, Virginia and is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

Designs and develops network and system architectures, and defines key capabilities and performance requirements. Defines total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements. Develops network and system element architecture and design and interface definitions. Defines network and system implementation approach and operational concept. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future network and system development. Ensures requirements are met and evaluates performance with customer.

  • Engineer and architect enterprise IT systems and applications in an on-premises and cloud environment.
  • Lead migrations of applications and/or systems to the cloud (public, private and hybrid), and experience with mobile applications and data analytics.
  • Manage and consolidate diverse user interfaces and architectures within an application portfolio, and provide detailed engineering and technical leadership to engineering staff involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks.
  • Apply experience with Cloud Service Providers such as AWS and MS Azure; and with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Maven, Selenium, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts.
Qualifications:
  • High School with 10+ years network architecture (or commensurate experience)
  • Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range: USD $161,900.00 - USD $173,000.00 /Yr.
