*Job Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospice care, outpatient clinics, and hospitals. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to ensure that patients receive the best possible care while adhering to established standards and protocols.

*Duties*
* Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
* Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
* Provide direct patient care including wound care, vital signs monitoring, and pain management.
* Conduct laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
* Support airway management procedures when necessary.
* Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and Cerner.
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.

*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of hospice care principles and practices.
* Experience in outpatient settings is preferred.
* Familiarity with laboratory procedures and standards.
* Proficient in medication administration techniques.
* Excellent pain management skills to support patient comfort.
* Ability to perform airway management effectively when required.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records.

Job Types: Contract, Travel nursing

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
