Get to Know Your Team:

* Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.

Responsibilities

* Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures. Prepare a clear, accurate preliminary report in both verbal and written format for radiologist and/or other medical providers.
* Document medical history related to the exam being performed and complete daily computer work.
* Maintain credentials and/or licensure
* Participate and attend departmental meetings
* Adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
* Take ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
* Communicate and listen effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understand instructions and share knowledge.
* Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service".

Qualifications

Job Requirements

* Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and ARDMS Eligible
* ARRT, ARDMS or equivalent registered or eligible
* Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire
* Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry
* Basic Life Saving Certified

Preferred Job Requirements

* Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
* One (1) year experience in the healthcare/hospital environment
