PM&R MEDICAL DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTS
We are looking for a full time PM&R Physician Medical Director interested in building a practice and growing with the community. This opportunity has a great financial package available including generous income guarantee and full relocation. Encompass Health has a wonderful group of collegial physicians with plenty of specialty support from local acute care hospitals.

* Medical Director role with monthly stipend

WHERE YOU WILL PRACTICE NORTH MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE
North Memphis sits comfortably outside the Memphis metro area and near the newly developed areas of suburbs. No state tax in Tennessee, affordable living and lively recreation are a plus Lots of new dining options and shopping. The city is most notably famous for the blues, soul and rock n roll music that originated there. Elvis Presley, B.B. King, and Johnny Cash all recorded at the infamous Sun Studios, and Elvis even made his home there at the legendary Graceland Mansion. QUALIFICATIONS

* MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
* Patient-centered commitment to excellence
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
* Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred but not required
* Interest in being a part of a thriving community

Using clinical collaboration and advanced technologies, we provide a personalized care plan designed to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals.
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach that includes physical, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, dietitians and more, combined with our advanced technology and expertise, to help you achieve your goals. You will receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under the constant care of registered nurses, many of whom specialize in rehabilitation, and frequent independent private practice physician visits.
