This career opportunity for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Tech is with a 40+ patient bed, rural health hospital located beautiful Eastern Washington. This non-profit community hospital has been recognized among the top 160 community hospitals In the United States by Becker’s Hospital Review and has been providing top-tier patient care to their community for over 60 years.

The MRI Technologist with this advanced medical center will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Additional duties include preparing and positioning patients for MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the procedure, and explaining the process to alleviate patient concerns. The MRI Technician will also be responsible for adjusting imaging parameters, maintaining the equipment, and ensuring that all images are of high diagnostic quality. Additionally, the MRI Tech will collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret the results and ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports. Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills are critical for success in this role.

The ideal qualifications in the role of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technician include associate’s degree in radiologic technology or related field, specialized MRI training, and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a similar accredited body. An MRI Tech with a strong understanding of human anatomy, imaging techniques, and safety protocols will make for quick interviews
