Sodexo is seeking a part time (24 hours a week) Registered Dietitian to work in its Community Health and Wellness Center at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. This is dietitian will provide general MNT for all age groups for a wide range of nutrition related concerns; gestational DM in pregnancy, prediabetes, weight management, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal disorders to name a few.

 

$3,000 Sign on Bonus

The successful candidate will:

  • creatively problem solve and make decisions while working independently and within a self-directed team-oriented work environment;
  • assist with program development, promotion/marketing, screenings and patient recruitment;
  • perform comprehensive nutritional evaluations and follow up; and
  • effective write and verbally draft communication for all hospital and departmental programs and activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

 

Credentials Requirement:

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
  • Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
