We are a high-paced, high-volume department with engaged leadership offering opportunities for advancement, comprehensive coordinated care, and additional educational opportunities. NRHS is in the process of a transformational expansion project that will prioritize outpatient care with a continued focus on population health across the region. We hope you will consider joining our team of healers Responsibilities:

* Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
* Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients.
* Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
* Maintains the exam rooms and work environment.
* Documents nursing care and activities.
* Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.
* Assists with the training of other staff.
* Assists departmental assistant with clinical matters.

Qualifications:
Education

* High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.

Experience

* Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care.
* Experience in office clerical activities desirable.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Licensure/Certification

* Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.

Compensation/Benefits

* $17.39-$28.40/hr depending on previous work experience.
