We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join the Engineering & Maintenance team of a leading pharmaceutical client. This role is pivotal in supporting the development of a new pilot plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and startup of purification equipment, including support equipment and associated utilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of design, installation, and startup of purification equipment.
  • Assist with facility and HVAC design.
  • Develop and execute Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) protocols.
  • Support overall project design development for the engineering team.
  • Manage design, planning, and scheduling tasks.
  • Handle risk management, addressing issues, delays, and ensuring project completion.

  • Single Use Mixers
  • Single Use Chromatography Skids
  • Single Use Depth Filtration Skid
  • Stainless Steel & Single Use UFDF Skids
  • Single Pass TFF Skid
  • Solvent/Detergent Inactivation Tanks
  • AWFI Skid
  • In-Line Conditioning Skid for buffer delivery to process skids
  • Single Use Assembly design



Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 5-10 years of experience working within GMP environments
  • Strong understanding of purification equipment and associated utilities – Single Use Mixers, Single Use Chromatography Skids, Single Use Depth Filtration Skid, Stainless Steel & Single Use UFDF Skids, Single Pass TFF skids, Solvent/Detergent Inactivation Tank(s), AWFI Skid, In-Line Conditioning Skid for buffer delivery to process skids, Single Use Assembly design
  • Experience working within facility/HVAC design
  • Excellent project management and risk management skills


Compensation:

$50/hr to $60/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
