Work EnvironmentThis position is 100% remote, utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with clients. Our virtual setting is designed to foster collaboration and ongoing professional development, providing access to a range of resources, training materials, and case supervision. Due to our commitment to work-life balance, we support flexible schedules while maintaining essential work hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities- Conducting comprehensive crisis assessments and interventions to support clients facing immediate mental health emergency situations.
- Providing timely counseling services to individuals in distress, ensuring their psychological safety and emotional support.
- Collaborating with law enforcement and emergency responders to protect client safety when necessary.
- Implementing crisis intervention strategies and applying de-escalation techniques to manage difficult scenarios effectively.
- Offering continuous support by facilitating follow-up care and recommending appropriate resources for individuals post-crisis.
- Engaging in professional development through training programs aimed at enhancing crisis counseling proficiencies and therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications- A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited university.
- A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certificate.
- A minimum of three years of recent experience in crisis intervention and mental health counseling, particularly in addiction therapy.
- Proficiency in evidence-based crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with individuals in distress.
- A commitment to cultural sensitivity and an empathetic approach to therapy for diverse client populations.
- Ability to conduct rapid assessments and develop personalized crisis intervention plans.
- Thorough knowledge of ethical and legal standards pertaining to crisis counseling.
- Additional training in trauma-informed care and specialized crisis counseling methodologies.
- Experience working with clients in telehealth settings, familiarity with various telehealth platforms.
- Knowledge of community resources and support networks to assist clients post-intervention.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, accompanied by the potential for salary adjustments as your skills and contributions evolve.
