Job Opportunity Clinical Laboratory Scientist
\nA prestigious and highly awarded medical center in the South Bay area is currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join their diagnostics team. This facility is recognized nationally for excellence in multiple specialties, including maternity care and general hospital services.
\nAs a key member of the laboratory staff, you will be responsible for a variety of technical and supportive tasks. Your primary duties will involve processing specimens, performing diagnostic tests, and ensuring the accurate reporting of results. You will work across various laboratory sections to provide high quality care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatric populations. Additional duties include inventory management, equipment maintenance, and ensuring the work environment remains compliant with all regulatory standards.
\nThis is a full time position featuring eight hour shifts with variable scheduling. The ideal candidate will be a professional who thrives in a collaborative, patient centered environment that values diversity and clinical excellence.
\nPosition Requirements
\nBachelor of Science degree
\nCurrent California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
\nAt least one year of professional experience in a clinical lab setting
\nOne year of experience meeting CLIA standards for moderate to high complexity testing
\nCompensation and Benefits
\nThe hourly pay range for this role is between 51.76 and 80.34 dollars. The final rate will be determined based on your professional background and experience level. There are additional opportunities for increased earnings through shift differentials, overtime, and on call pay.
