Southeastern Timber Products is searching for a talented and qualified millwright who has proven experience with industrial equipment repairs. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, machinery repairs, dismantling and reassembly of machinery, interpreting blueprints, and installing equipment.
The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms essential for job procedures.

Job Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a millwright or similar job.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial machinery.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited millwright certificate program.
• Work history in a sawmill or wood product manufacturing environment.
• Basic electrical safety and knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
• Use of computerized maintenance software systems for work order processing.

About Ackerman
With approximately 1,700 people, the town of Ackerman was chartered on February
16, 1884 and named for the president of the railroad, William K. Ackerman. Located
110 miles Northeast from Jackson, MS, Ackerman has been the County Seat of
