Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge in JobBoss, ERAPA, SAP, EMS, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint – Intermediate level
  • Knowledge with Outlook or other email communication tool – Intermediate level
  • Good interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • Good written and oral communication skills necessary for meetings and presentations
  • Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills
  • Partners with senior management to analyze and solve issues
  • Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently
  • Ability to read blueprints and to understand basic engineering documents
  • Knowledge of commodities, materials and products being purchased
  • Position related experience – 5+ years
  • Relevant auto industry experience required - Intermediate level
  • Past GM work experience preferred – Intermediate level
  • Areas of expertise include: Purchasing, specifically Racing/Performance related vendors


Required Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related Field, or 5+ years equivalent experience
  • Position related experience: 5+ years
  • Experience with GM systems if possible (SAP, Arriba) or production purchasing experience (MGOA MGOC)
  • Consistency, not job hoppy on resume
  • Someone who is open minded, has organizational skills
