We are actively seeking a full-time or part-time Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for a skilled nursing facility in Manhattan, NY. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits

Job Description:
Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
Work as a liaison with other clinicians, physicians, labs, radiology, etc.
Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the charge nurse, as well as the CNAs
Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents and families
Provide information to residents and staff by answering questions and requests
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by implementing rules and regulations
Work closely with the electronic medical record (EMR) to ensure client electronic charts are maintained, updated, and remain in compliance with company standards
Maintains confidentiality of medical records, personnel records, etc., within the scope of their position
Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods
Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university is preferred
Proven experience within a SNF or similar healthcare setting, and a minimum of 1-year experience as a nurse supervisor
Strong understanding of long-term care regulations, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant healthcare software.
Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
