Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nocturnist to join our team in the Pittsburgh suburbs for a temporary position during the holiday season. This position is a part-time locum tenens opportunity requiring night shifts from December 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025. The selected provider will be responsible for working 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. shifts, assisting an APP with admissions and discharges of hospitalized patients.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, with no trauma cases, a closed ICU, and an intensivist in-house 24/7.

Key Details:
  • Shift Schedule: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. (Holiday coverage only)
  • Dates: December 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025
  • Patient Volume: 16-20 patients per day (rounding), 8-10 admissions per shift
  • ICU Beds: 20-30 (No procedures required)
  • Sub-Specialty Support: Available for all specialties
  • EMR: Sunrise
  • Privileges: Emergency privileges available within 30 days
  • No call required
Requirements:
  • Board Certified: DO or MD
  • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania state medical license
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hospitalist experience
  • DEA License: Required
