*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans and assist patients in their rehabilitation journey. Your expertise in patient care and knowledge of anatomy and physiology will be crucial in helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. This position may involve working in various settings, including home health, acute care, inpatient, outpatient, and geriatrics.

*Responsibilities*
* Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
* Provide direct patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities.
* Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising physical therapist.
* Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
* Stay updated on best practices in physical therapy techniques, including orthopedics and trigger point therapy.

*Experience*
* Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for effective patient care.
* Familiarity with various therapy settings such as home health, acute care, inpatient, outpatient, orthopedics, geriatrics is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.
* Ability to demonstrate compassion and patience while working with diverse patient populations.

Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
