Requirements:
* DPM Degree
* Active CA license
* CPR and BLS
* Min 1 year continuous experience within the last 3 years
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and treat disorders of the foot, ankle and leg.
* Evaluate patient concerns and assign corrective shoe inserts, design casts and strapping to correct deformities, research and design custom-made shoes.
* Prescribe medication and supervise physical therapy.
* Order x-rays and laboratory tests; prepare and maintain clinical records.
* Establish policies and procedures regarding podiatric care for the residents at the facility.
* Provide consultation and assessment, determine treatment plans and monitor therapy.
* Advise and make recommendations to clinical staff concerning podiatric needs of residents, including professional issues, procedures, supplies and equipment.
* Any other duties as assigned.
