SUMMARY OF JOB:
Responsible for preparing and dispensing medications and other pharmaceutical supplies using standard professional procedures. Pharmacist will perform all day to day responsibilities while providing of high quality, comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the patients of the Redeemer Health (Redeemer Health) and those in the community, in compliance with legal, regulatory and professional standards. - This includes drug distribution function, as well as clinical (cognitive) activities plus educational and supervisory functions, all provided under the auspices of the Redeemer Health Mission and Values.
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- - - - - - - Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with an entry-level pharmacy degree (B.Sc. or Pharm.D.) - - - - - - - Minimum of 2- 4 years prior experience in a retail pharmacy and/or hospital out-patient pharmacy setting required - - - - - - - Ability to work a rotating day, evening and Saturday shifts is critical - - - - - - - MTM certification required - - - - - - - Immunization certification required - - - - - - - Completion of an ASHP- accredited residency desirable but not required -LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: - - - - - - - Pennsylvania Pharmacist licensure in good standing (or eligibility for licensure) - - - - - - - Pennsylvania Authorization to Administer Injectables in good standing (or eligible for licensure) - - - - - - - ACLS certification in good standing -EOE
