Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
* Quickly assess and triage patients, determining the severity of conditions and prioritizing care accordingly.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, specialists, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care.
* Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system.
* Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
* Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
* Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience in a high-acuity setting.
* BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC and CEN certifications preferred.
* Proficiency with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
