Job Description:

Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Location: Atlanta, GA

Schedule: 40 hrs/week

Shift: 5x8 Days (8 hrs)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $2500- $2670 Weekly DOE

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team. The Mammo Tech will perform mammography examinations to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and maintain compliance with industry regulations, including MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) and ARRT certification standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality mammography exams following established protocols.

Ensure patient comfort, safety, and provide clear explanations of the procedure.

Position patients and operate mammography equipment for accurate imaging.

Review images for quality and diagnostic clarity before submission to radiologists.

Maintain patient records and document exams in PACS.

Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Assist with equipment maintenance and quality control procedures.

Stay current with MQSA and ARRT certifications.

Qualifications:

No local candidates within 50 miles.

2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.

BLS certified.

ARRT certification in Radiography with a specialization in Mammography.
