With 16 communities spanning across multiple states, Vista Senior Living specializes in Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Position: Wellness Nurse (LPN)

Eden Vista Mount Prospect is a vibrant senior living community committed to providing exceptional care and enhancing the well-being of our residents. We believe in creating an environment that promotes physical, emotional, and social wellness. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Wellness Nurse (LPN) to join our team and contribute to the health and happiness of our residents.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct health assessments and create personalized care plans for each resident.

* Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.

* Monitor residents' vital signs and promptly address any changes in health status.

* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic and person-centered care.

* Assist in the development and implementation of wellness programs and activities.

* Educate residents and their families on health-related topics and promote preventive care.

* Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate and appropriate interventions.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident medical records.

* Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for residents and their families.

* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements
You love working with people and handle everyday challenges with a smile
* Graduate or Future Graduate from an accredited nursing program

* Hold a Current State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse

* Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms

* Have a minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN in a long term care setting

* A natural problem solver

* Are committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff

* Shift Differentials of $1.50 for PMs and NOCS and $1.50 weekend differential on all shifts
