Rivet has multiple opportunities on our growing Marine Corps Systems Command professional support services team spanning program and acquisition management, logistics, finance, contracts, engineering, IT, data, and other DoD acquisition command professional service requirements.
Duties:
Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Senior Admin Support Specialist provides professional administrative support to multiple enterprise IT portfolio offices. Establish, implement, manage, and maintain action tracker tools to support requirements for the assigned Government organization. Provide travel support for the assigned Government organization in accordance with the Defense Travel System (DTS) governance. Manage office supplies and equipment for the assigned Government organization. Manage the Morning Report for assigned Portfolio and submit via Marine On-Line (MOL) per Command and program office policies. Maintain personnel rosters, organizational chart(s) and table(s) of organization and update monthly inventory, stock, and organize office supplies procured by the Government.
Additionally, the Senior Admin Spt Spc is a Task Lead which fulfills a few roles:

  • As a prime contract's Task Lead, be the primary point of contact for the supported customer Task Lead and related customer stakeholders. Be customer-service oriented, proactive, responsive, and effective in handling all customer communications and issues.
  • Lead the contractor support team of 5 administrative assistants and 2-3 specialists - A/VTC equipment, internal controls, and records management.
  • As the Task Lead, provide vision, strategy, direction, oversight, and quality control of task-level performance, including subcontractors. Empower every individual to succeed in achieving exceptional customer outcomes. Support the synchronization of contractor personnel at different levels of the organization.
  • As a Rivet supervisor, empower your team to not only to be successful, but also to set the standard for professional excellence for our subcontractor partners and our competitors.

Qualifications:
Experience:

  • Ten years of DoD professional administrative support, preferably one or more years at Marine Corps Systems Command
  • Experience in the direct supervision of administrative and technical professionals.
  • Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to initiate plans, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook).

Education or Certification:

  • High School Diploma

Security:

  • Requires the applicant to pass the security clearance requirement for the position. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
