Position: EMS Technician Level II

The EMS Technician Level II is a mid-level Technician responsible for performing certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs, and diagnostics. This role requires creative thinking for solving problems in emergency situations and self-management of the workday.


Duties
  • Perform minor adjustments and repairs on various types of truck equipment.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled safety training.
  • Document work according to company standards.
  • Communicate with management, team members, and Dispatch.
  • Perform all work in compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Obtain parts from approved vendors.
  • Accurately complete DOT forms and documentation.
  • Manage parts inventory and equipment on service truck.
  • Work with clients to assess their needs.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of truck equipment.
  • Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and meet Cox Automotive Mobility minimum driving qualification standards.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment.
  • Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as Power Technician on medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair.
  • Must be at least 21 years or older.

Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $33.70 - $50.53/hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on factors such as location and candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
