* A current and valid Texas RN/LVN nursing license or valid RN/LVN license from a Compact Party State.

* Preferred Skilled Nursing Facility Experience as an MDS Nurse
* Knowledge of state and federal regulations, both clinical and financial as it relates to the RAI process and reimbursement systems

MDS Coordinator- LVN/RN at Touchstone Communities summary:

As an MDS Coordinator, the RN/LVN is responsible for coordinating the Minimum Data Set assessments in accordance with state and federal regulations, ensuring compliance with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement processes. This role requires strong knowledge of clinical and financial regulations related to skilled nursing facilities, combined with experience in case management.
