Pediatric Endocrinologist - Clinician Educator, academic at top 15 nationally ranked program Overview

The nationally ranked Riley Hospital for Children is seeking a patient-focused Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our multidisciplinary Pediatric Endocrinology division, a leader in the state for diabetes management and endocrine care. Our diabetes and endocrinology program is ranked 15th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report .

  • Responsibilities will consist of evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents at Riley Hospital, Methodist Hospital, IU North in Carmel, and outreach locations.
  • Strong work/life balance supported by sharing of in-patient call equally among all physicians, with call expectations of approximately 3-4 weeks per year.
  • Close collaboration with medical treatment teams including physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, certified diabetes care and education specialists.
  • Faculty appointment with the IU School of Medicine with abundant clinical supervision and research opportunities.
  • Comprehensive benefits package provided by IU Health Physicians and IU School of Medicine.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will have pediatric endocrine and diabetes experience.
  • Successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be open to new ideas and opportunities and focus on the Indiana University Health values (purpose, compassion, excellence, team).
  • Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology & Diabetology required.
  • Eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana.
  • New graduates and experienced providers encouraged to apply.
