We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Mutual Fund Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will process a wide range of complex mutual fund transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will leverage your expertise to analyze legal and financial documents, communicate with diverse stakeholders, and maintain quality and productivity standards.

This position offers the opportunity for conversion to a permanent role and requires a commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities: Execute various complex mutual fund transactions, including new account setups, purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and account maintenance, adhering to productivity and accuracy standards
Analyze and process advanced financial and non-financial specialized trades

Interpret and review intricate legal and financial documents such as prospectuses, trust agreements, signature guarantees, qualified plan prototypes, wills, divorce decrees, and corporate resolutions
Actively ensure compliance with the Bank Code of Ethics, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), information security, and suspicious activity reporting requirements
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ISO 9001 certification standards for continuous improvement and risk-based thinking

Serve as a key point of contact for shareholders, internal departments, fund clients, and administrative agencies to resolve inquiries and address regulatory requirements
Provide clear and effective communication to resolve shareholder requests and discrepancies

Act as a mentor for new specialists, assisting with the transition from training to team integration
Collaborate with trainers and managers to enhance onboarding and knowledge transfer processes

Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills/Experience: Excellent oral and written communication, mathematical, PC, and customer service skills
Proven ability to independently perform a wide range of transactions while meeting or exceeding quality and productivity goals
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with shareholders, internal teams, and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues

Preferred Skills/Experience: Working knowledge of the securities/mutual fund industry, including terminology, rules, regulations, and practices
Demonstrated ability to interpret diverse client/fund information and regulatory guidelines
Strong reading comprehension to analyze shareholder requests and legal documents

Education Requirements: Two to four years of post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in a related field
