Our Rosemount, MN facility is in need of a Machine Assistant to join our team on our 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm) . To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. * Check paper for basis weight.
* Check poly for trim and mil thickness.
* Strip paper/poly rolls. Take off only minimum amount needed. Scrap is to be placed in the
* appropriate bins.
* Shaft rolls - using partial rolls (butts) first.
* Perform necessary slide angle tests.
* Maintain glue and stak-tite in pans.
* Thread paper/poly through machine.
* Set-up laminator.
* Clean laminator upon completion of use.
* Set fife guides.
* Keep area clean.
* Work overtime as needed.
* Will train on shift as needed.
* Must be able to communicate and understand work instructions and training information.
* Work in other areas as instructed by the Supervisor, Lead Person or Operator.
* Perform outside duties as instructed by the Supervisor, Lead Person or Operator.
* Be able to operate tuber as needed.
* Follow all Plant and Safety Rules.
* Assist in Training.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED
* Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
* Ability to bend, twist and kneel.
* Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to stand continuously for 2 - 3 hours.
* Ability to perceive colors.
* Must have manual dexterity.
