*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and pediatric environments. The role requires a strong understanding of physiology and medical terminology, as well as experience with orthopedics and geriatrics.

*Duties*
* Assist in implementing individualized care plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
* Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients to enhance recovery.
* Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
* Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with clinic policies.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy as needed for effective treatment.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.

*Experience*
* Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is essential.
* Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, or skilled nursing facilities.
* Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Experience in home health settings is a plus.
* Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
