This opportunity is full-time during first shift.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
  • Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
  • Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
  • Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
  • Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure that reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are successfully transported between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
  • Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle – rain or shine
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous phlebotomy training or experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
  • Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
  • Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Bonus points if you’ve got:

  • 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection , processing and operating conventional vehicles for business purposes. This includes cars, trucks, and/or vans.
  • Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
