Position Overview

Ensures thorough and accurate creation of servicing statements, packaged loan files, and all related documentation. Ensures excellent external and internal customer service while monitoring the loan through funded to paid off loan cycle. We seek someone who is intellectually curious, holds themselves to high standards and can thrive in a high-achieving, fast-paced culture.



Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform loan servicing by entering new loans into the servicing software, monitoring and booking incoming payments, drafting ACHs for approval, creating statements for participating loans and following up with borrowers on late interest or extension payments
  • Update Salesforce with loan information and tracking
  • Electronically deposit checks and book into the servicing software
  • Follow up with borrowers with upcoming loan maturities and prepare extension documentation
  • Monitor insurance expiration dates and renewals
  • Generate payoff demands upon request and follow up on payoff demand approvals from Management
  • Review and process construction draws and draw reimbursements
  • Adhere to all applicable compliance and private lending regulations
  • Other duties as may be assigned


Background, Experienced & Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree preferred but not required
  • Previous mortgage or real estate experience
  • 2+ years of progressive loan servicing experience
  • Proficiency in full cycle loan process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative team player with a focus on delivering results
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • The Mortgage Office experience a plus
  • Trust accounting experience a plus


Compensation


This Phoenix-based position requires in-office work three (3) or more days per week, to ensure close alignment among all team members. This position is exempt full time, with salary range: $65K - $75K, depending on experience level, plus discretionary bonus potential.
