Job Summary and Qualifications

The Lead CT Technologist will serve as the primary workflow coordinator, technical advisor to other technologists and radiologists, and responsible for department specific needs related to protocols, procedures, and processes. 

What you will do in this role: 
  • Perform direct patient care in the department, performing scans and procedures are ordered by clinicians.
  • Report daily to Manager regarding volume/productivity, equipment, safety or patient issues. Notify Manager to address: any Team Member issues or concerns and respond to any patient/safety related issues or physician related issues. 
  • Technical advisor to department staff and Radiologists, other physicians, related to technical aspects of patient procedures and exams such as: optimal protocols, quality of imaging, radiation safety, equipment trouble-shooting, and optimizing workflow. 
  • Advise, implement and communicate new procedure and protocol development. Oversee and assist with department PACS QA issues and other image quality issues. 
  • Ensure: Daily work is scheduled and completed in optimal manner; Adequate communication between department and referring/treating clinicians regarding procedure/patient specific information; Department functions in manner to promote customer, physician and patient satisfaction; Input and evaluation of new equipment is provided

What qualifications you will need:

  • BLS & ARRT (CT) required. 
  • Certificate from an accredited Radiology school or program in CT or Radiology
  • 5+ years of CT experience preferred.
