EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join the Affordable Housing practice. We are looking for a dynamic individual who excels in a progressive setting and demonstrates a commitment to delivering exceptional client services. This role is based out of our Johns Creek, Columbus, or Birmingham offices.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
  1. Tax Return Detail Review
  2. Prepare complex returns (complexity determined by the manager)
  3. Research intermediate tax issues
  4. Complete various tasks to assist manager
  5. Prepare supporting documents and schedules for intermediate tax projects
  6. Respond to IRS, state/local and other notices
  7. Assist manager with routine client correspondence
  8. Helps organize client meetings under the direction of a manager or partner
  9. Experienced Senior may manage a limited number of clients
  10. Develop staff and interns - oversee, provide coaching and training
Basic Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required
  2. 2+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
  1. Master's Degree in Taxation or relevant field
  2. CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or parts passed towards completion, OR IRS (Internal Revenue Service) Enrolled Agent Certification
  3. Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software
