Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The primary objective of this position is to provide accurate and timely estimates for commercial electrical projects in and around the Houston area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify project requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate estimates
  • Prepare and maintain cost reports and documentation
  • Attend meetings with clients and contractors to discuss project requirements and costs
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to reduce project costs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in electrical estimating
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction, electrical contracting, and commercial construction
  • Proven track record of delivering accurate cost estimates and meeting project deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
