Job Summary and Qualifications- Responds to and assists with all rapid response calls, alerts, and code blue arrests within the hospital and as needed for the ED. Performs preventative rounding on high risk patients to assess need for additional monitoring and interventions. Assists in the ED during high census or high acuity peaks to stabilize patients and decompress the ED. Acts as a resource for nurses throughout the hospital as an advocate, educator, and support in patient care.
- Schedule: 11am - 11pm; 3 12-hr shifts plus rotating weekends.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Two years’ experience in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Nursing, or other prior experience at leadership discretion.
- Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage, and care of a critical patient.
- Kansas RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
- BLS and ACLS required. CCRN and/or CEN required.
