Short Description:
As an experienced Solution Architect for SASE (Network & Security), you’ll be executing tasks of both technical and strategic in nature that impact our customers, clients, and other internal and external business partners. Your expertise in designing, implementing, and overseeing the deployment of a complex cloud network & security architecture will be key to ensuring efficient and secure connectivity for the entire organization.

By incorporating your knowledge of business use-cases/drivers, you’ll affect change and execute development of technical assets such as high level conceptual design, detailed (low-level) design, implementation plans, test/PoC/pilot setups, RFI/P vendor selection/evaluation documents and tools. You’ll partner closely with our product managers/owners and align SASE designs with our product offerings to their desires and vision. You will be responsible for driving architecture results while working closely with other technical teams to implement multiple, complex programs that span the breadth of the business; thus acting as both an advocate and trusted technology expert for internal and external teams. Qualifications:

  1. BS/BA degree or equivalent experience with a must have at least 2+ years of Solution Architecture experience in Cloud/Multi-Cloud (networking & security) | SDWAN and experience designing & implementing high quality cloud enable products.
  2. Ability to define and communicate architecture strategy & approach in clear, concise, and understandable terms to senior management and other stakeholders.
  3. Ability to define design architecture vision, roadmap and setting design objectives that align with customer demand & also enterprise’s business goals.
  4. Performing market research on next generation technologies and aligning them to actual/real-world products.
  5. Ability to articulate customer needs internally so they can be translated into a finished design.
  6. Proven ability to structure business cases around a high-level strategic architecture.
  7. Technical knowledge and expertise in productizing SASE/SSE features including but limited to SDWAN, SWG, ZTNA, FWaaS, CASB, DLP and RBI.
  8. Strong technical knowledge of VPN, IPSEC, GRE, Segmentation (application & network).
  9. Knowledge of public, private and hybrid cloud architectures.
  10. Knowledge of Cloud networking and Multi-cloud networking.
  11. Knowledge of public, private and hybrid cloud architecture of at least one of the major Cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  12. Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices, and Company policies.
  13. Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies.
  14. Excellent communication skills, plus proven relationship building abilities.
  15. Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch, and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and development of comprehensive networking and security architectures/designs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s business goals and technical requirements. Proficient in creating High Level and low level designs for large scale and complex SASE deployments.
  2. Hands on deep-dive technical knowledge and expertise in productizing SASE features including but limited to SDWAN, SWG, ZTNA, FWaaS, CASB, DLP and RBI.
  3. Very Strong familiarity and knowledge around SASE solution across industry standard popular Vendors/OEMs.
  4. Lead SASE PoC initiatives including test planning & design, lab setup (equipment/tools), test execution and results.
  5. Create detailed functional and non-functional feature requirements for RFP, technical collaboration with stakeholders/partners, Drive the RFP process, evaluating and selecting vendors based on their ability to meet the organization’s technical and business needs.
  6. Primary technical lead to drive & lead the for the ensuring seamless integration and alignment with the organization’s operational framework.
  7. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure the designed solutions address both technical and business challenges.
  8. Create comprehensive documentation of designed architectures and solutions, and ensure knowledge transfer to relevant teams for smooth implementation and operation.
  9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in networking, security, and hybrid cloud to continuously refine and enhance the organization’s architectural strategies.
  10. Knowledge of public, private and hybrid cloud architectures.
  11. Manage key relationships and communications with stakeholders and vendors including to senior executives.
