The primary responsibilities of this position includes providing behavioral consultation services to clients with developmental disabilities through the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Program in Lake County, Indiana. Services are provided in the client's home, work or day program environment, as well as in-office consultation. This is a full-time, salary position with benefits. Driving to visit clients at their home or day program is a requirement of this position.

We are looking for an individual who:
- Enjoys working with special needs populations (children - adults)
- Meets with clients on a consistent basis
- Is prompt with paperwork completion
- Will complete assessments, observations, and develop Behavior Support Plans
- Is comfortable consulting with and training caregivers or staff on behavior support plans
- Is flexible and easily adapts to new situations
- Is dependable and reliable
- Is professional and positive
- Works well with larger systems and as a team
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess excellent time management and organizational skills

This position is located primarily in Lake County with the home office being on the Schererville/Crown Point border, Indiana.

Qualifications
Applicants MUST have a Master's Degree in one of the following areas:
* Social Work
* Counseling
* Marriage and Family Therapist
* Clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or another applied Health Services area of Psychology
* Special education

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Pass all background checks required for this position
* 3 references
* Drug screening
* Negative TB and drug screening test
* Copies of resume, driver's license, diplomas, transcripts, licenses/certifications, and other supporting documentation
