Pipe Yard / Shop Laborer
We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Pipe Yard / Shop Laborer to assist with pipe preparation, handling, and general shop upkeep. The ideal candidate has experience working with pipe, using grinders, and performing physical work in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
Grind pipe to remove surface imperfections and prepare it for processing.
Roll and position pipe using approved handling procedures.
Clean and grease pipe according to work instructions.
Stencil and mark pipe accurately for identification and traceability.
Keep the shop and yard clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
Assist with other shop and yard duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous pipe yard, manufacturing, or industrial shop experience preferred.
Experience using hand grinders and other basic power tools.
Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and handling materials throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Dependable attendance and willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Years Experience: 1 - 3 years
Salary: $18 - $23 Annual
