Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

• 12 months of PCU Float Pool experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required to apply. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required to apply. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Documentation of 3 doses Hepatitis B vaccine required, please do not apply if you are not able to supply these.

36 or 48 hour contracts are available upon request.

Travelers are required to float to multiple units.

3 weekends required per month

Progressive Care Floating Position. Candidate will float between progressive units and occasionally med/surg.

Experience Needed:

Progressive/step down experience; phlebotomy, IV starts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, drips (such as amiodarone, Cardizem, heparin, insulin), chest tube management, epidural/PCA management, fall prevention, pressure injury prevention, Telemetry, Post Cath/EP procedures, low level drips, nitro, milrinone, dobutamine.

Education - Required * Graduate of accredited Nursing program

Experience - Required

  • 1-2 years Acute Care Experience in Cardiac/ PCU

  • Telemetry, Post Cath/EP procedures, low level drips, nitro, milrinone, dobutamine, Cardizem

Scrub Colors/Dress Code:Navy

Guaranteed Hours (24/36/40):36
