Sr. Java FSE w/React.js (Hybrid)

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Full Stack Engineer with experience in Java 17, Springboot, React, and Microservices. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our Engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Charlotte, NC or Phoenix, AZ, USA. (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:
  • Candidate should be ready to work from client office for at least 3 days a week.
  • Proficiency in Java 17 with experience in Writing REST API, backend logic (batch jobs / Kafka processors) using spring boot.
  • Good to have React hands on experience.
  • Exposure to Non-Relational DB like MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience on Kafka is must.
  • Proficient in using and adopting CICD DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy/Harness etc.
  • Candidate should be able to work as individual contributor and have exposure in microservice applications.
  • Associates should have good analytical skills, should be able to debug the application and understand the concepts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience with Spring boot, Java 17, React, microservices, and software development.
  • Hands on knowledge on Kafka, mongo DB is must.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Jira/Scrums is required.
  • Preferable to have basic experience in banking and financial domain.
  • Candidate should have experience in different phases of project execution like requirement gathering, analysis, design, unit testing, test support.
Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337K – $141,500K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
