Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

• 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 100 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required to apply. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours 36

Monday to Sunday; No block schedules for any reason.

E/O weekend required

RN for PCU: will be assigned to Float Team.

Insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IV’s, post cardiac cath.

EPIC experience from within the past 12 months is required and nonnegotiable.

License or proof it is in process must be included with the submission packet.

IVS to OFFER; This facility requires ALL work history information (Bed count, EMR, Fac type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit. Please ensure all employment gaps over 30 days are explained.

Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
